It’s been a long time…

Hello Bootleg Beatle People everywhere! Today marks the 41st Anniversary since that now famous day when the original Bootleg Beatles climbed into a beat-up old banger of a van and travelled down to the West Country to play our first ever gig at the Tiverton Motel, Devon. Since that debut show, the band – a dozen full-time members in total – have had the privilege to play that most fabulous music of all to thousands and thousands of Beatle fans worldwide. And it’s been a blast! So while we’re celebrating our 41 years, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have supported us over these more than two-score decades and over 4,000 shows. You have been brilliant!

The last year has been tough for everybody. For the ‘live’ entertainment industry it’s been a lost one. Like all live performers, the Bootlegs have not escaped a devastated date sheet – playing just a handful of shows since our 40th Anniversary.  But the good news is we’re still here, ready and waiting to get out and play for you all again. Once that last restriction has been lifted – we’ll be there. We’ve missed you!

In the meantime, we do have some outdoor festivals lined up including a socially-distanced, drive-in show at Syon House and Park, Brentford on 12th June. We hope you can make it. Until then – and once more – the warmest thanks to all you Bootleg Beatle People for an 41 amazing years!

Neil and Andre
