At the end of 2024, we were saddened to hear that our former ‘Macca’, Paul Cooper, passed away after a long illness.

Paul joined the BB’s own Liverpool band ‘Mojo Filter’ after David Catlin-Birch initially left the group in 1987. Paul was a huge part of the group’s success in the 1990s, helping to establish what became our traditional theatre touring and our ‘residency’ on Glastonbury’s acoustic page.

He was also famously part of the line up supporting Oasis at Earls Court and Knebworth.

His love of The Beatles was only surpassed by his love for Liverpool FC.

RIP, old friend.
